Talk about Synchronicity!

August 5th, 2009

Some interesting things have manifested over the last few days. I’m going to be in thailand from Aug 19 – Sep 2. for some reason I had been hesitating on getting a hotel room for when I am visiting the island of Phuket. Now I know why! Yesterday I was off and relaxing at the house watching a movie(I watch movies on my computer with a flat screen monitor and killer surround system). My instant messengers are always on and I saw a familiar name log on. Tony is a british friend of mine that I met through Susan. Susan and I have the same taste in women!(Today is her 1 year anniversary with May!) Anyway, Susan had introduced Tony to me at a party in 2006 and we have kept in touch over the years. Last time I saw him was about 3 months ago at the coffeeshop in the Sea Shell Hotel. When I saw him log on I asked him if he had any recommendations for places to stay in Bangkok and Patong, Phuket. He gave me a good hotel in Bangkok near where I have stayed before. The hotel in Patong was right next door to the 1 I stayed in back in Dec 07. Then he says the words that made my day….you know you could stay at my place. Its in Kamala(a 15min drive from Patong). I had forgotten he had a place there. I accepted and we will work out the details next week. I’ve been thanking the Universe all day long!

Then my friend Mel found me a place in Bangkok. She knows the manager and got me a great discount and I can check in early. I’m getting there at 730am and by the time I go thru customs and take a taxi to the hotel it will be 830. I can check in at 900am! Perfect after a 7hr night flight!

Then I get to work and check out my work schedule. I finish up work on the 17th at 2pm and will be free until I get on the plane the evening of the 18th! No rushing around! I am loving it!

Hot Damn! It’s a new year!

August 2nd, 2009

Well I survived my birthday! I started my birthday at work and I ended my birthday at work! I didnt do much other than chat with people online and relax around the house. Hell I even did some laundry! My mom called and I talked to her and her boyfriend for a little while but the day was kinda depressing. No parties or surprise visits from friends that are here in Bahrain, but I did have alot of time to think about things. My plans for my trip to thailand almost complete. I keep getting surprises about who will be where but tonight I get my hotel rooms and plane ticket from bangkok to phuket. I’m off tomorrow! I didnt get my manicure, pedicure and massage today(yes men do get manicure and pedicures!). JJ who normally does my massages was unavailable yesterday so I left. I can be very impatient on my bday! I had a long talk with Ann who owns the massage shop. I told her I was going to thailand and that it was my fourth trip. She was very surprised. When I told her I loved thai food, she said she would cook for me! That’s one of the things I like about Asian women. They like to please! I’ve only met Ann a couple of times that I have gotten massages, but I have found that once an asian woman finds something in common with you its like you have known each other for years! Anyway I need to finalize my hotel plans. I keep getting messages from friends in thailand! I need at least 3 more days! I’m out!

It’s after Midnight on Aug 1st!

August 1st, 2009

It’s my birthday! This has been a crazy week! Joy and I had a fight so we didnt talk for a few days but yesterday I was at a birthday party at Pan’s house(she babysits JR my Godson and Joy’s son) and I knew Joy would be there. She came up to me gave me a hug like nothing had happened. Sometimes I dont know whether to hug her or kick her! Anyway I was only at the party for a couple of hours before I went to work so I spent alot of time playing with JR. I’m his father figure,(his father has only seen him once, hell I see him once a week!) I spent the last 30 minutes at the party laying on the floor. JR was in his seat with the vibrator on. My head was just below his feet. He was supposed to be sleeping but everytime I looked up he was looking at me and smiling! I was reclining using Joy’s leg as a prop. Anyone coming into the room would have called it a family moment. At 1 point I just closed my eyes. I couldnt sleep but I was very relaxed, happy and content. hell I felt like a satisfied baby. The food at the party was great!

Anyway. Work was crazy last night and I ended up being at work for 13 hours. I got off 6 hrs late. I had been up for 24 hrs(with an hour nap sneaked in), so when I got home all I wanted to do was sleep! I slept for 5 hours then woke up for some reason. Later on I realized it was the phone. Someone had been miss calling me(I hate miss calls!). I got up and Joy was online and we started chatting. I was hungry and invited Joy to come with me since I was in the mood for thai food. Needless to stay…we ended up getting sushi 2 hours later…don’t ask…I dont even want to go into that episode of why it took 2 hrs to get food! lol. Anyway we ate back at my house and watched a little tv before I had to come to work. And here I am still at work for another 2.5 hours! I brought in my birthday at work and I will finish my birthday at work(I work tonight!), but I keep thinking about the fact that I will be in Thailand Aug 19 – Sep 2 and that makes everything easier!

HAPPY 38TH BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Peace
Smiley

An Overview of Swine Flu

July 27th, 2009

Swine flu or influenza is a condition caused by strains of subtypes of Influenza A virus called H1N1, H1N2, H3N1, H3N2, and H3N3. These viruses are common in pigs located in midwestern United States, Canada, South America, Mexico, Mainland China, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, and other Eastern Asian countries.

Transmission of influenza virus from swine to humans is relatively uncommon and does not always result to human influenza but often leads to production of antibodies in the blood. When properly cooked, pig meat does not have the potential of passing the virus. Transmission that leads to human influenza is called zoonotic swine flu.

PLRWholesaler.com Affiliate Review

July 22nd, 2009

plr combo PLRWholesaler.com Affiliate ReviewI’ve been doing a lot of reading lately about Private Label Rights (PLR) content. I used to think that it was only for lazy people who didn’t want to do their own writing. But as I learn more, I’ve come up with lots of great ways I can use PLR in my own business.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, PLR is content that you get from the original author along with their permission to use it as your own. So you can get a great report, put your name on it and have your own product to sell or give away!

The first couple of products I created using PLR only took me about half an hour. There have been a few sales so far from them so that was definitely time well spent.

When searching for PLR content to use, I found there were a lot of different types of sites available. Some offered monthly memberships and others offered just one time purchases. So be sure to look around before you decide where to buy.

The site I found that was by far the best was PLRWholesaler. Not only do they have an unbelievable amount of content, but it’s completely FREE. Most sites charge an arm and a leg for the amount of content that this guy is giving away.

And although I haven’t been through everything yet, what I have read is very good quality. It’s stuff you would actually want to use as your own.

Since it’s free, I highly recommend that you check out PLRWholesaler and see if they have anything that you can use in your business. There just may be an ebook or audio recording that you could quickly brand with your information and start selling to your list.

“A new food pyramid”

July 22nd, 2009

=================================
“A new food pyramid”
=================================

Do you have acidic body condition? What causes acidic body? And what is the correct food pyramid to prevent acidic body?

Your blood pH level is 7.4 which is slightly alkaline based. Your body will automatically maintain this pH level to ensure proper body functions. But if you take in too much acidic food, your blood tends to become more acidic.

To maintain pH level of 7.4, calcium in your bone will be extracted into blood stream since calcium is alkaline based. Eventually, you will have all sorts of body stiffness, body pain and even bone spur.

Acidic body environment also prevents your immunity cells from functioning properly. This in turn leads to lowering of your immune system. You will also have poor blood circulation. In short, most diseases are caused by an acidic body.

=================================
Acidic food
=================================

By acidic food, it doesn’t mean the food must has acidic taste. We burn the food into ash and mix it with water. Then we test the water for its pH level. This is how food acidity is determined. So what type of foods are acidic in nature? These
are:

* Meat
* Fried and grilled food
* Beans and nuts (peanut is highly acidic)
* Rice, wheat, noddles and bread
* Sugar and sweet food (cake, ice cream, chocolate, etc. except fruit)
* Salty food

And what type of foods are alkaline in nature?
These are:

* Fruits
* Vegetables

=================================
Balanced diet
=================================

Naturally, you should take a balanced diet to maintain a slight alkaline body condition. Forget about the old food pyramid where you must take rice, wheat and bread the most. Here is a new food pyramid you can follow:

* One forth of your diet should consist of meat and beans (acidic)
* One forth of your diet should consist of rice, wheat and bread (acidic)
* Half of your diet should consist of fruits and vegetables (alkaline)

Do you realize this new food pyramid consists of half acidic food and half alkaline food? This balanced diet helps to keep your body in a healthy acidity level. Actually, your body is slightly alkaline. Therefore, it is even better if you can take slightly more fruits and vegetables.

In your next meal, see how much acidic and alkaline food you take. Make sure you have a well balanced diet for a healthy body.

Tomorrow can be too late

July 20th, 2009

I got this in an email today. Really take the time and think about this one! I know how this feels because I never told someone what I loved them and they died in a car crash 5 minutes from my villa. Don’t wait until tomorrow because it might just be too late!

Tomorrow can be too late

If you’re mad with someone, and nobody’s there to fix the situation… You fix it . Maybe today, that person still wants to be your friend. And if u doesn’t, tomorrow can be too late

If you’re in love with somebody, but that person doesn’t know… tell her/him. Maybe today, that person is also in love with you .And if you don’t say it, tomorrow can be too late.

If you really want to kiss somebody… kiss her/him.
Maybe that person wants a kiss from you, too. And if you don’t kiss her/him today tomorrow can be too late.

If you still love a person that you think has forgotten you… tell her/him. Maybe that person has always loved you. And if you don’t tell her/him today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you need a hug of a friend … ask her/him for it. Maybe they need it more than you do. And if you don’t ask for it today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you really have friends who you appreciate… tell them maybe they appreciate you as well. That if you don’t and they leave or go far away today, tomorrow can be too late.

family time with jr

family time with jr

Last week was hectic! Work was a pain! Fortunately Joy called me up to let me know she was going to see JR (My Godson) and of course I had to come along! I treat JR like he is my own son! I love him like he is my own! (and those who know me know how much I love my daughter!)His father has only seen him once and doesnt support Joy at all. Being around JR keeps me sane and balanced. You can’t have an attitude when you have that bundle of joy in your arms! This picture came out perfect!
